Bukit Duri Urban Village Prepares 3 Evacuation Locations

Bukit Duri Urban Village, Tebet, South Jakarta prepared 3 evacuation locations to accommodate flood victims.

Each locations can accommodate minimum 100 refugees

Bukit Duri Urban Village Head, Achmad Syarief mentioned, evacuation locations were prepared to anticipate flood in the region.

According to him, there were four RWs that often flooded due to overflowing Ciliwung River, namely RW 09, 10, 11, and 12.

"As an anticipation, we have prepared 3 evacuation locations equipped with facilities which in accordance with health protocols," he stated, Saturday (1/30).

Those 3 evacuation locations are located in Bukit Duri Urban Village Office Building at RW 09, PKK Building at RW 08, and Al-Hidayah Musala at RW 12. Each locations can accommodate minimum 100 refugees.

Meanwhile, his side also cooperated with related SKPD to provide foods, public kitchen, evacuation post, maintain security and so on.

"We also have instructed RT, RW, Karang Taruna, FKDM, PKK, Tagana to assist when the flood occur," he said.
