As many as 100 Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency personnel were deployed to handle inundation on Jalan Bungur, Kemayoran, on Monday (2/8).

Central Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Head, Ahmad Saiful conveyed, Jalan Bungur Raya was inundated as high as 20 centimeters due to overflowing Ciliwung Lama River.

"Last night, the opened Manggarai Sluice Gate cause water to flow to Ciliwung Lama River until overflowed," he conveyed.

Not only SDA personnel, his side also deployed 12 pumps consisting of 7 floating pumps with capacity 150 liters per second and 5 mobile pumps with capacity 400 liters per second in flooded areas.

"We are grateful that inundation didn't reach residential areas around Bungur and Angkasa areas," he closed.
