Landslide, Personnel Clean Collapsed House Debris in Pejaten Timur

As many as 30 PPSU personnel were deployed to clean up debris of house affected by landslide on Jalan Swadaya, RT 12/10, Pejaten Timur Urban Village, Pasar Minggu on Friday (2/5). In this work, they received assistance from South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency.

Pejaten Timur Urban Village Head, Mohammad Rasyid conveyed, this landslide caused kitchen and bathroom of house that located on the riverbank collapsed on Thursday (2/4) evening around 20:15 when heavy rain fall.
"It happened because house's foundation was on the cliff of Ciliwung River," he mentioned.

"Personnel also help to evacuate home owner's property," he added.
Previously, on Wednesday (2/3) landslide also occurred on Jl. Sharin, Srengseng Sawah Urban Village, Jagakarsa. Due to landslide, Srengseng River's retaining wall collapsed and blocked the water flow.
South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency Head, Mustajab stated, his side deployed 20 personnel to handle the collapsed retaining wall.
"We estimate the repair takes two weeks to complete," he said.
