Onrust Archaeological Park Reopened

Starting February 11, Jakarta Maritime Museum Management Unit reopened the historical tourist destination, Onrust Archaeological Park, consisting of Onrust Island, Kelor Island, and Cipir Island.

Onrust Archaeological Park is open from 8 AM to 4 PM

Jakarta Maritime Museum Management Unit Head, Berkah Shadaya mentioned, Onrust Archaeological Park reopened in accordance with Gubernatorial Decree No. 107/2021 about Enforcement of Micro-Scale Community Activity Restriction.

"It also refer to Jakarta Culture Agency Head Decree No. 87/2021 about Operational Arrangement for Museum and Cultural Art Performances Buildings in Micro-Scale Community Activity Restriction Period and Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency Decree (SK) No. 123/2021 about Enforcement of Micro-Scale Community Activity Restrictions in Tourism Business Sector," he informed, Thursday (2/11).

According to him, tourism activities at Onrust Archaeological Park must still implement strict health protocols to prevent COVID-19 transmission. Number of visitors is also limited maximum 50 percent of capacity.

"Visitors are required to wear masks, wash hands with soap, and maintain safe distance. They must buy tickets non-cash, and fill their data in guest book or information system," he added.

For information, Onrust Archaeological Park is open from 8 AM to 4 PM.
