Tens PPSU personnel were deployed for post-flood cleaning at RW 07 and 08, Kampung Melayu Urban Village, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, on Saturday (2/13).

Kampung Melayu Urban Village Head, Setiyawan mentioned, 30 PPSU personnel together with local residents cleaned up remaining waste and mud after flood using hoes, dustpan, shovels, brooms, and sacks.

"Today we deploy 30 PPSU personnel to assist residents to clean up mud and waste after flood. The main focus is on RW 07 and 08 because there are still lot of mud," he explained.

According to him, it takes time in cleaning the area because there are a lot of waste and mud that clogging the channels.

In order to speed up the cleaning, his side also deployed mobile pump to spray the mud that clogged the channels.

"We will clean the area thoroughly, maybe it will continue until tomorrow," he closed.
