Jakarta Vice Governor Ahmad Riza Patria has called on all parties to be more awareness and give concrete support to health workers throughout Jakarta.

That statement was conveyed when he held a working visit (kunker) to Setiabudi Sub-district Puskesmas, South Jakarta, Wednesday (2/17) noon. At that time, he was also distributing supporting needs, such as masks and vitamins.

During the visit, he accompanied by his wife, Elissa Sumarlin; Jakarta Health Agency Head, Widyastuti; South Jakarta Health Sub-agency and its ranks; as well as Setiabudi Sub-district Puskesmas Head and its ranks.

"We support for all of their dedication, dedication, sacrifice, time and energy, but also sacrificing their body and soul, including leaving their family. I also urge residents to also give attention and assistance for them in serving COVID-19 patients. Certainly we have to support and motivate them. This aims to increase their morale," he explained, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.

He also reminded health workers to provide the best health services to the community, especially during the pandemic.

"We want to make sure all units always observe health protocols. Moreover, the current data shows the virus transmission of nearly 50 percent is in puskeasmas RSUD, vaccination center and then followed by housing complex," he explained.

Even he had seen the vaccination process, especially at the Setiabudi Sub-district Puskesmas. "I see it goes well. Moreover the important thing is no side effect of the vaccine," he explained.

This vaccination process was already in accordance with health protocols. The governor and him had visited many hospitals and gave support, motivation, dialogue, and solutions to existing problems/obstacles.

Aside that, he appreciated the performance of the Health Agency in providing publi c services to the public and dealing with COVID-19, starting from promotive preventive, curative and rehabilitative efforts to the community. Therefore, the government and residents were also expected to collaborate in curbing the virus.

"Despite the case is still high, please check out facts and data, the highest recovery rate is up to 90%. The death rate continues to decline to 1.6%. All ranks give the best service for all COVID-19 patients, also no less than 24-28% we also provide services to non-Jakarta residents," he closed.
