Joint Personnel Handle Inundation on Jl. Bujana Tirta

Joint personnel from Water Resources (SDA) and PPSU were deployed to handle inundation on Jl. Ahmad Yani and Jl. Tirta Bujana, Pisangan Timur, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, on Thursday (2/18).

Pulogadung Sub-district SDA Task Force Head, Indra B. Ansor conveyed, his side deployed 12 personnel to clean up garbage that clogged channels in the location.

Some of them helped to control traffic thus passing small vehicles and motorbikes were not trapped in inundation.

"We deploy 12 SDA Task Force personnel to handle inundation on the location," he added.

Pisangan Timur Urban Village Head, Muhammad Iqbal stated, his side deployed 10 PPSU personnel to help handling inundation on Jl. Bujana Tirta and Jl. Raya Persahabatan Timur.

According to him, Jl. Bujana Tirta was inundated due to Bea Cukai Reservoir that overflowed.

"Usually when rain stop, inundation will recede quickly," he mentioned.
