Heavy rain that occurred throughout Jakarta areas from Friday (2/19) evening to Saturday (2/20) morning caused inundation with different heights in several locations in East Jakarta.

In order to overcome inundation, East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agencydeployed 22 rubber boats in 17 flooded locations.

"By this morning, we have evacuated 39 residents. Most residents choose to stay at their homes," he stated.
According to him, 17 flooded locations in East Jakarta including RW 03 and 04, Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, Makasar; Jl. Laning Rambutan Urban Village; Jl. H. Taiman RT 004/10 Gedong Village, Pasar Rebo.
Next, Jl. Lebak Sawah RT 004/02 Cijantung Urban Village; RT 007/10 Tengah Urban Village, Kramat Jati; Jl. Masjid Al-Umar RW 05 and RW 12 Lubang Buaya Urban Village; Jl. Penggilingan Baru 1 RT 11/04 Dukuh Urban Village, Kramat Jati.
