Logistic Aid Distributed to Flood Victims in Cipinang Melayu

We have distributed aid for residents affected by the floods to the evacuation sites

Residents affected by flooding in Cipinang Melayu area, Makassar, received logistic aid from the East Jakarta administration, on Friday (2/19).

East Jakarta Mayor Muhammad Anwar expressed logistic aid distributed were consisting of packaged rice meals, tents and health protocol facilities such as masks, hand sanitizers, blankets, biscuits, mattresses, etc.

"We have distributed aid for residents affected by the floods to the evacuation sites," he told.

He also warned the residents in the evacuation sites to always comply with health protocols by washing hands, wearing masks and maintaining physical distancing from each other.

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head Purwono uttered his party had provided 1,200 boxes of packaged rice meals to locals who had fled at Borobudur University.

He also distributed aid for 30 sheets of foam mattress, 30 sheets of mattress, 30 sheets of blankets, 5 boxes of biscuits.

"Tonight, we're going to send aid in the form of clothes suitable for use such as negligee, t-shirts, underwear, pampers, sarongs, blankets, and sanitary napkins," he closed.
