East Jakarta Sudinsos Sends Assistance to Cipinang Melayu Residents Affected by Flood

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency distributed assistance to residents affected by flood in Cipinang Melayu, Makasar, on Friday (2/19) night.

If it still not enough, we will send other assistance according to residents requests and needs

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Purwono mentioned, not only food, but his side also provided assistance in form of mattresses, blankets, biscuits, various clothing and salat (pray) equipment.

"Last night we send assistance to urban village thus urban village apparatuses can distribute it to the residents in evacuation posts," he explained, Saturday (2/20).

Assistance that was sent to Cipinang Melayu Urban Village Office are 12 bags of adult pampers, 4 dozen collared shirts, 20 pairs flip-flops, four dozen T-shirts.

As well as 50 sarongs, 50 house dresses, 30 mukena (women salat clothes), 4 dozens baby swaddle wraps, 16 bags baby pampers, 48 packs sanitary napkins, and 8 packages of kidsware.

"If it still not enough, we will send other assistance according to residents requests and needs," he stated.
