Retention Pond at Jalan Artha Gading Emptied to Prevent Flooding

Various efforts have been made to anticipate flooding on Jalan Boulevard Raya and Jalan Artha Gading, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. That is by emptying the retention pond and installing the pump on that roads.

So, we empty the retention pond around Jalan Artha Gading to anticipate the next rainfall

Kelapa Gading Sub-district Acting Head, Darmawan said, from five pumps alerted, three were installed on Jalan Boulevard Kelapa Gading. Then two other pumps were in Pejagalan, Penjaringan.

"So, we empty the retention pond around Jalan Artha Gading to anticipate the next rainfall," he expressed, Sunday (2/12).

Rain Throughout Jabodetabek Area, Residents and Personnel Must Be Alert

He expressed it was also optimized by operating a pump house in front of Kelapa Gading POMAL which flows to BGR River to Cakung Lama River.

"It is expected to accommodate water in large quantities when it rains," he stated.
