After passing through a long discussion, nine homestays in Thousand Islands have been converted into emergency isolation house for COVID-19 patients.
Thousand Islands Tourism and Creative Economic Sub-agency Head Puji Astuti detailed those nine homestays were located on Tidung Island (two units), Kelapa Island (two units), Harapan Island (four units) and Untung Jawa Island (one unit).

He uttered, there were currently 34 people undergoing self-isolation at the homestay in accordance with the recommendations of the Thousand Islands Health Sub-agency and the local puskesmas.
"It is much needed to contain the spread of COVID-19 transmission, especially in family cluster," he stated.
