Most ZIS Collectors in North Jakarta are Awarded

The North Jakarta administration gave awards in the form of plaques and appreciation money to the nine most ZIS (zakat, infaq, alms) collectors in 2020 at the sub-district, urban village, and education executing unit sub-district levels.

It was handed over by North Ja karta Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim accompanied by Management and Collection Division Head for Jakarta Zakat Baznas Bazis, KH Nur Alam Bachtiar, during the evaluation meeting and optimization of the results on the collection of the ZIS and the social charity at the Pattern Room, North Jakarta Mayor's Office, on Tuesday (3/2).

Those nine collectors were Koja Sub-district, Tanjung Priok Sub-district, Cilincing Sub-district, Pademangan Sub-district, Penjaringan Sub-district, Tanjung Priok Sub-district, Lagoa Urban Village, Pluit Urban Village, and Warakas Urban Village.

"Our thanks and appreciation to all parties who have contributed to the collection of ZIS. It will be used and distributed to the needy. Hopefully, in the future, it can be more optimal and intend in our hearts what we do as acts of worship," expressed the mayor.

He encouraged all elements to always support the North Jakarta Baznas Bazis in an effort to meet the results of the ZIS achievement.

"In this pandemic, we must further increase our care for others with a high social sense. Likewise with ZIS utilization activities which are no longer standard but follow existing developments," he expressed.

North Jakarta Baznas Bazis Coordinator, Wisnu Cakraningkrat added that last year's ZIS collection was Rp 7.8 billion and this year was Rp 11.4 billion.

"This appreciation is our motivation to continue supporting this year's ZIS collection. With collaboration, we make ourselves to be the best among the good," he stated.
