This September, East Jakarta ZIS Fund Reaches 70 Percent of This Year's Target

From January to September 2020, East Jakarta Baznas Bazis has reached 70 percent of this year's target for Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah (ZIS).

From total target Rp 22 billion, we have collected Rp 17.8 billion or 70 percent of the target until this September

East Jakarta Baznas Bazis Coordinator, Aminnudin conveyed, his side targeted to collect Rp 22 billion for ZIS this year. From that amount, his side has collected 70 percent of the target or Rp 17.8 billion.

"From total target Rp 22 billion, we have collected Rp 17.8 billion or 70 percent of the target until this September," he explained, Thursday (9/24).

Jakarta Baznas Bazis Targets to Renovate 500 Housing Units

His side continued to collect ZIS from civil apparatuses (ASN) in Jakarta Government, residents, and other parties, for example through collaboration with private sectors and the others.

Some of the ZIS fund has been distributed for social activities. For example, for house renovation program, scholarship for preaching and TPQ teachers, Jakarta Tangguh Program, Z-Mart, and social assistance for orphans, poor people, and honorarium teachers.

"We are optimistic that we can reach our target by the end of December," he stated.
