The Thousand Islands Statistic Central Agency (BPS) holds the 2021 National Survey on Labor Force (Sakernas) towards 60 households randomly in six urban villages spread over Thousand Islands.
Thousand Islands BPS Head Ahmad Azhari said the Sakernas is a survey conducted by BPS with the aim of obtaining a general picture of employment in Indonesia, especially in Thousand Islands.

According to him, the officer would visit directly to the target household. Afterwards, the survey results were planned to be used as the basis for planning and evaluation of development in the manpower sector.
"All data submitted will be kept confidential and guaranteed by Law number 16/1997, Article 21 concerning the guarantee of confidentiality of information from respondents," he stated.
