The North Jakarta Statistics (BPS) will carry out the national population census in person, despite the ongoing COVID-19 crisis today, Tuesday (9/1). It will be done to commence its door-to-door efforts by implementing health protocols.
"Each officer is armed with data from the results of the Online Population Census (SPO) and data belonging to the Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Agency," expressed North Jakarta BPS Head, Suhartono.

He targeted the operation would end within 15 days ahead and was expected to get support from all circles for optimal results.
"It will be held together with the Administration Bureau, as well as urban village and sub-district heads, Friday (8/28). The results of this census can be used as initial data for determining future government policies," he stated.
