Squash Sport Facility at GOR Koja Handed Over as Jakarta's Asset

Squash Indonesia Association Management for Jakarta Province handed over squash sport facility at Koja Youth Sport Center (GOR), North Jakarta, to Jakarta Government through Youth and Sports Agency.

This facility will make athlete's training to run more optimally

Squash sport facility at GOR Koja consists of three courts, one of them is a full glass court.

General Chairperson of Squash Indonesia Association Management for Jakarta Province, Amalia Chrisna Damayanti said, squash sport facilities were installed independently without using City Budget (APBD).

"This facility will make athlete's training to run more optimally. We want to achieve target in Squash exhibition at POPNAS 2021 which will be held in Palembang, South Sumatra," she stated, Friday (3/5).

Meanwhile, Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency Head, Achmad Firdaus appreciated the handover of independent squash court to be Jakarta Government's asset.

"We will ensure to manage this facility well. We will also coordinate with related sub-agencies to realize submitted proposals, including to enter squash sport in school extracurricular activity in Jakarta and support the collaboration with Sister City of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia," he mentioned.
