Latest COVID-19 Information in Jakarta as of March 5, 2021

Jakarta Government urges all people to be more disciplined in implementing 3M health protocols because COVID-19 positive cases are still increasing. Although the government continues to intensify 3T action, it needs cooperation from the community to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission.

PCR in the past week reached 87,777

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head, Dwi Oktavia stated, based on the latest data from Jakarta Health Agency, PCR test has been carried out for 12,098 specimens. From that amount, 10,041 specimens have been tested today to diagnose new cases with total of 1,159 positive results and 8,882 negative results.

"For information, 294,330 PCR tests have been carried out per 1 million population. While the number of people tested for PCR in the past week reached 87,777. Number of positive cases declined by 228 cases thus in total it reached 7,173 active cases as of today (including people who are still being treated/isolated)," she explained as quoted in Jakarta PPID Press Release.  

Meanwhile for total confirmed cases in Jakarta as of today reached 346,975 cases. From that amount, 334,100 people recovered with recovery rate of 96.3% and 5,702 people died with mortality rate of 1.6%. While mortality rate in Indonesia reached 2.7%

For positivity rate or positive cases percentage in the past week in Jakarta reached 12.6%, while the percentage of positive cases in total reached 11.1%. WHO also set standard positive cases percentage no more than 5%.

Jakarta Satpol PP will also give sanction for anyone who don't wear mask and violate health protocols, as well as intensify guest book data collection. It is hoped that people can be more disciplined in implementing health protocols and participating in breaking the chain of COVID-19 transmission.

C. Workplaces, Business Places, and Industrial Places

- Administrative Fines = 1

- Temporary Suspension of Activity for 3x24 Hours = 3

- Written Warning = 42

- License Revocation = 0

- Zero Violation = 378

Total = 424

- Individual = Rp 8,350,000

- Restaurants = Rp 2,000,000

- Workplaces, Business Places, and Industrial Places = 5,000,000

Total Amount = Rp 15,350,000
