Latest COVID-19 Information in Jakarta as of March 3, 2021

Jakarta Government urges all people to be more disciplined in implementing 3M health protocols because COVID-19 positive cases are still increasing. Although the government continues to intensify 3T action, it needs cooperation from the community to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission.

PCR test has been carried out for 23,445 specimens

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head, Dwi Oktavia stated, based on the latest data from Jakarta Health Agency, PCR test has been carried out for 23,445 specimens. From that amount, 18,517 specimens have been tested today to diagnose new cases with total of 1,437 positive results and 17,080 negative results.

"Some of yesterday's positive data is delayed due to technical constrains at National Laboratory in Health Ministry," she said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

Meanwhile, total PCR test rate reached 290,944 per 1 million population. While the number of people tested for PCR in the past week reached 87,454. Number of positive cases in Jakarta declined by 1,098 cases thus in total it reached 7,179 active cases as of today (including people who are still being treated/isolated).

For total confirmed cases in Jakarta as of today reached 343,808 cases. From that amount, 331,016 people recovered with recovery rate of 96.3% and 5,613 people died with mortality rate of 1.6%. While mortality rate in Indonesia reached 2.7%

For positivity rate or positive cases percentage in the past week in Jakarta reached 12.7%, while the percentage of positive cases in total reached 11.1%. WHO also set standard positive cases percentage no more than 5%.

Jakarta Satpol PP will also give sanction for anyone who don't wear mask and violate health protocols, as well as intensify guest book data collection. It is hoped that people can be more disciplined in implementing health protocols and participating in breaking the chain of COVID-19 transmission.

- Administrative Fines = 2

- Temporary Suspension of Activity for 1x24 Hours = 1

- Temporary Suspension of Activity for 3x24 Hours = 6

- Dismissal and Written Warning = 39

- License Revocation = 0

- Zero Violation = 308

Total = 356

C. Workplaces, Business Places, and Industrial Places

- Administrative Fines = 0

- Temporary Suspension of Activity for 3x24 Hours = 0

- Written Warning = 48

- License Revocation = 0

- Zero Violation = 405

Total = 453

• Administrative Fines Collected

- Individual = Rp 9,700,000

- Restaurants = Rp 350,000

- Workplaces, Business Places, and Industrial Places = -

Total Amount = Rp 10,050,000

Jakarta Provincial Government is still opening opportunity for residents who want to provide assistance to the others who affected by COVID-19 through Large-scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) Program.
