Three Cars Towed in Matraman Due to Illegal Parking

Joint personnel from Transportation Sub-agency, Satwil Lantas, Police, Kodim, Koramil, Marines, POM TNI AD, and Satpol PP controlled illegal parking on Jl. Matraman Raya on Monday (3/8) morning.

This morning, we towed 3 cars because they parked on the roadside

This operation was carried out in northern side of the road, from Koinonia Church until Regional Jakarta Market. While in the southern side, it was carried out from in front of Jenderal Oerip Soemohardjo area to Fish Market and Stamplas Bogor.

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub) Head, Benhard Hutajulu conveyed, operation was carried out along Jl. Matraman Raya since this area often used for illegal parking area, especially in morning and afternoon.

"This morning, we towed 3 cars because they parked on the roadside," he added.

East Jakarta Sudinhub's Monitoring and Controlling Section Head, Riky Erwinda stated, this operation involved 250 joint personnel and 8 towing cars.

"As prevention, we deliberately hold the operation in morning before vehicles park in the area. Even before the operation, we have installed 10 socialization and parking restriction banners," he explained.

In order to prevent illegal parking, his side will deploy 20 personnel and 2 towing cars every day at the location.

"They will be on standby from morning to afternoon. If there are vehicles that dare to park illegally at the location, we will immediately net them," he asserted.
