Thousand Islands Continues to Implement Strict Health Protocols for Tourists

The antigen rapid test is applied to tourists who cannot show negative COVID-19 certificate

The Thousand Islands Regency administration continues to implement strict health protocols for tourists in a bid to curb the transmission of COVID-19 during the micro-scale public activity restrictions (PPKM Mikro).

Thousand Islands Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Sub-agency Head, Puji Astuti disclosed, together with related units, strict monitoring was intensified by holding antigen rapid test, checking body temperature to conducting the mask operation.

"The antigen rapid test is applied to tourists who cannot show evidence or a negative COVID-19 certificate," she expressed, Thursday (3/11).

She explained, based on the latest data until 12 PM, there were 474 tourists vacationing to a number of tourist destinations in Thousand Islands.

"217 are departed from the Marina Pier, 230 are from Kaliadem Pier and 27 are from Rawasaban Pier," he stated.
