Food Station-Health Agency Strengthen Collaboration in Food Security and Stunting Prevention Programs

PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya (FSTJ) and Jakarta Health Agency improved its collaboration in maintaining food security and optimizing stunting prevention in Jakarta.

PT. FSTJ President Director, Pamrihadi Wiraryo said as Regional-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) in food cluster, his company carried out its function to secure food supply from initial stage thus in the end it can be absorbed by civil servants (ASN) in Jakarta Government, including in Health Agency.
"We build synergy with other agencies (OPD), in this case Health Agency as commodity supplier in hospitals, as well as stunting prevention programs in Jakarta," he said during work visit with PT. FSTJ officials to Health Agency Office in Petojo, Central Jakarta, on Friday (3/12).
BUMD-BUMN Collaborate to Maintain Food Supply and Price StabilityHe explained that PT. FSTJ has distributed rice to around 15,000 ASNs in Jakarta Government. It still needs to be improved as a form of real collaboration between BUMD and OPD.
"In the future, hopefully we can supply rice to all ASNs in Jakarta Government," he stated.
On the other hand, Jakarta Health Agency Head, Widyastuti welcomed the work visit carried out by ranks of PT. FSTJ today.
According to her, there are several programs from Jakarta Health Agency that might be synergized, such as rice procurement for employees within Health Agency.
"We really support Food Station programs and always socialize employees to use rice from Food Station," she conveyed,
In the future, she added, PT. FSTJ will also conduct socialization to employees in 32 hospitals (RSUD) and 44 health centers (puskesmas) under Jakarta Health Agency.
"We also have priority program for strengthening and preventing stunting for children in schools. Regarding breakfast program for school students which carried out in collaboration with Education Agency, I think it can be synergized with Food Station program," she closed.
