The discount was valid by the end of March. Yet it could be exceeded in the following months by taking into account fluctuations in prices of basic commodities.
"If there is no change in prices, we will continue until May. If there is a lower price movement, we'll also lower the price. We will do evaluation. We are also trying to secure from the upstream sector by conducting contract farming," he explained.
He added it aimed to make sure people benefit from the cheap packages.
"We also want a balance between harvest uptake from farmers to the community. Don't let us absorb a lot from farmers, but we can't sell it in the market," he stated.
