After being closed since December 2020, it has been noted that 4,973 tourists had visited the Ragunan Zoo (TMR), Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Saturday (3/13) and Sunday (3/14) yesterday.
Ragunan Zoo Promotion Executing Unit Head Ketut Widarsana disclosed the tourist destination was reopened to the public on Saturday (3/13) yesterday. Yet the number of visitors was limited to a maximum of only 5,000 people or 50 percent of capacity.

"We remain implement strict health protocols for visitors and attendants. Visitors also have to order tickets online, wear masks, check body temperature and not crowd," he asserted.
He went on to say that residents over the age of 60, pregnant women as well as babies and children under nine were prohibited from visiting the zoo.
"We also welcome residents from outside Jakarta to visit here," he stated.
