Jakarta Undergoes Verification of 2021 Parahita Ekapraya Award (APE)

2. Making Jakarta as a city that advances public welfare through jobs opportunity, stability and affordability of basic needs, increased social justice, accelerated infrastructure development, ease of investment and doing business, and improved spatial management
3. Making Jakarta as a place for state apparatus to work, serve, and solve various urban problems effectively, meritocratically and with integrity
4. Making Jakarta as a sustainable city, with development and living systems that strengthen the environmental and social carrying capacity
5. Making Jakarta as a dynamic capital city as a node of Indonesia's progress characterized by justice, nationality and diversity
"Based on the 200-2025 RPJPD, there are four strategies to achieve the mission of building social and cultural resilience. First, gender and child mainstreaming through comprehensive and targeted policies by promoting participatory processes," he explained.
The other three strategies were increasing access to health, increasing access to education, and revitalizing youth. Then in the 2017-2022 RPJMD, to realize the first mission, two goals and objectives were set. First, realizing Jakarta is a safe, orderly and inclusive city with development goals that are gender equitable and women and child friendly (IPG). Second, realizing healthy, intelligent, and working people with the goal of ensuring access and quality education, health and empowerment services for all (IPM).
He also explained, 18 of the 23 work promises were related to gender mainstreaming, such as KJP plus, KJS plus, new jobs and increased entrepreneurship, to integrated public transportation development.
"There are various innovations. For example, the use of Carik Jakarta data during the pandemic, the integrated service center for women and child violence at the Tarakan RUSD, gender support in various public facilities, and the collaboration of the Jakarta DPPAPP and TP PKK towards enduring families," he uttered.
As in previous years, the announcement of APE 2021 was slated for the celebration of Mother's Day on December 22. However, because of the pandemic, it was possible to adjust the timing and technique of awarding awards.
