MRT Jakarta Wins the Indonesia Best BUMD Awards 2021

PT. Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Jakarta (Perseroda) won the Indonesia Best BUMD Awards 2021 on Guaranteeing Affordable, Best Service, and Stylized Modern Public Transportation at DKI Jakarta, Java Island for Transportation Category.

This award, which initiated by Warta Ekonomi, was given based on number of assessment indicators, such as BUMD's internal and external innovations related to public service and publication.

PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) President Director, William Sabandar said, the various achievements received to date indicate that the company continues to hold a commitment in providing solution in transportation for Jakarta as a metropolitan city.

"Our achievements are inseparable from hard work and support from various parties, such as government, private sectors, non-governmental organizations, and community," he mentioned, Tuesday (3/9).

He asserted that PT. MRT Jakarta is committed to improve quality of community's life and face of Jakarta through the use of integrated public transportation and development of transit-oriented areas.

"On behalf of PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda), I would like to express my gratitude and highest appreciation for this award. Since the beginning, PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) is indeed not only a public transportation company, but a driving force for changes in people's lifestyle," he conveyed.
