Streetlights in 8 Residential Islands Repaired

Thousand Islands Technical Work Unit (UKT) 2 has repaired streetlights (PJUs) in 8 residential islands, both in North Thousand Islands and South Thousand Islands Sub-districts.

Previously we used 150 watts for PJU, but now we replace it with 40-90 watts LED

Thousand Islands UKT 2 Head, Sofyan mentioned, his side repaired broken PJUs, both in residential areas and pier.

"Previously we used 150 watts for PJU, but now we replace it with 40-90 watts LED because it is brighter and more efficient. We also repair damaged ornaments on PJUs. In total, we repair PJUs in 50 points in 8 residential islands," he explained, Thursday (3/18).

Seven Street Lights in Taman Sari Repaired

In detail, personnel repair and replace PJUs in Tidung Island, Untung Jawa Island, Lancang Island, Pramuka Island, Panggang Island, Harapan Island, Sebira Island, and Kelapa Island.

"Gradually, we will carry out efficiency of electrical power by replacing PJUs bulbs into LED in 11 residential islands. Currently, we focus on replacing broken and dead PJUs," he stated.
