Cilangkap Holds COVID Vaccination for Elderly at Garuda RPTRA

To reach 100 percent,  until March 31, it is targeting 150 people every day

The Garuda Cilangkap Child-friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), Cipayung, East Jakarta holds COVID-19 vaccination for the elderly today and will end on Wednesday (3/31).

Cilangkap Urban Village Head Nasir Sugiar disclosed, the Garuda Cilangkap RPTRA was chosen, as it was close to the residential area and was reachable by residents from six RWs in Cilangkap. Hopefully the vaccination program for the elderly in Cilangkap could be maximized.

"It is also expected to make it easier for the elderly who will do dynamic vaccination," he said.

He said that pickup to the elderly's house would be carried out if some could not come to RPTRA due to transportation reasons. Thus far as many as 389 elderlies had received vaccine from the target set by 2,132 people.

"To reach 100 percent,  until March 31, it is targeting 150 people every day," he uttered.

Its implementation could run in cooperation between the urban village with the Puskesmas and assistance from students of the Kramat Jati POLRI Nursing Academy. There were about 17 health workers involved to smoothen the vaccination.
