We urge people to be orderly on the roads, because in the end it also reduces number of traffic accidents

He conveyed his full support for electronic ticketing system and welcomed the launch of ETLE nationally. He also appealed road users in Jakarta to be more orderly thus violation can be decreased.

He explained, there is significant reduction in violations and traffic accidents in several points where ETLE cameras have been installed in Jakarta. It means this policy can be implemented properly at national level.

Meanwhile, Metro Jaya Police Head, Inspector General Police Muhammad Fadil Imran mentioned that ETLE is important to improve public traffic order index. In series of trial, it has been proven that electronic ticketing system is effective in reducing traffic violations and accidents.

"In here, there are Jakarta Vice Governor and Kajati, we can't stand alone in enforcing ETLE. In 2021, we hope Jakarta will increase 60 more points with ETLE. Earlier, there were also Tangerang Mayor, Bekasi Mayor, and Depok Mayor who participated thus its implementation is not only in capital city," he stated.

In the near future, he added, ETLE trial will be carried out immediately for road users who often do speed-racing action on the road. He ensured those who violated driving speed provisions would be sanctioned in form of ticket.

"It is not a threat. It is an extraordinary program of Police Deputy Chief. Jakarta is the showcase for Indonesia. A reflection of city with culture, ethics is an orderly manner," he asserted.

For information, National ETLE launching event was carried out in closed manner due to COVID-19 pandemic. In this event, Jakarta Vice Governor, Ariza was accompanied by Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Syafrin Liputo and his subordinates.
