Jakarta TP PKK Chairwoman Fery Farhati conveyed the general message from the PKK chairperson, that the PKK Unity Day was a fundamental momentum, and had an important and strategic meaning in the implementation of the 10 PKK main programs. "The commemoration this year means that the PKK, in this case the Mobilizing Team and Cadres in all corners of the archipelago, should know, want and be able to be at the forefront in realizing quality families in moral, educational, health, socio-cultural, economic, and environment aspects," she stated.
Another meaning, she furthered, was that the PKK movement not only placed the family as the object or target of government programs, but was also able to initiate Indonesian families to make changes towards a better community life as the goal of national development.
During the pandemic, her side was intensifying health protocol campaign and provided nutritious food aid for people affected by the COVID-19 and Gebrak Masker.
"Based on the results of the report data processing, ± 41.3 million masks have been distributed throughout the province and testing has been done in the form of a free rapid/swab test for 51,850 people on the 2020 Mother's Day Commemoration. I'm sure, there is still a lot that has been done by PKK cadres at the urban village and sub-district levels, but not all of them have been reported," she uttered.
