KPKP Sub-agency Gives Training to 114 Seaweed CultivatorsShe explained, 5 tons seaweed seeds were distributed to five seaweed farmers in Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Sub-district and 3 seaweed farmers in Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district.
"We distribute Eucheuma Cottoni seaweed seeds which are suitable to be planted in the waters of Thousand Islands. Hopefully this assistance can increase seaweed production and farmer's economy," she said.
