Two Water Channels Widened in Sukabumi SelatanHe disclosed the area was a hot spot for inundation, especially during heavy rains. It happened, because of the small dimensions of the channel, causing queues for water and channels that were unoptimally accommodating water.
He added the channel being widened was 103 meters length and 60 centimeters depth. After the channel was completed, he would also build three absorption wells which would be placed beside the channel. By so, it could accommodate water in large quantities.
"The infiltration well is still in planning, as we have to discuss this further with the residents. It is targeted to be complete for two months," he stated.
