1,342 Damaged Road Points Repaired in Kelapa Gading

Kelapa Gading Bina Marga Unit has repaired 1,342 damaged road points in Kelapa Gading Sub-district, North Jakarta within January-March 2021. Repair was carried out using cold mix and hot mix asphalt.

After it is repaired, we hope people can take care of it

Kelapa Gading Bina Marga Unit Head, Untung Pitoyo stated, roads were damaged due to excessive vehicle tonnage and affected by inundation, especially during heavy rain.

"There are seven damaged road points within area of 180.8 square meters which repaired using hot mix and 1,335 damaged road points within area of 2,762.83 square meters repaired using cold mix," he said, Saturday (4/3).

His side expected this repair can make road users to feel safer and more comfortable.

He asked residents to maintain public facilities and report if they find any damaged roads, potholes, collapsed channel's covers, street lights off, utility cables, and others by sending photos of damaged road points clearly and explaining its chronology, time, and location via Jakarta Bina Marga Agency's WhatsApp number 021-3844444.

"After it is repaired, we hope people can take care of it," he mentioned.
