West Jakarta Synchronizes COVID Vaccination Data for Elderly

The West Jakarta administration, held a synchronization meeting regarding vaccination for the elderly, on Wednesday (4/7).

The target data for the COVID-19 vaccination for the elderly in West Jakarta reaches 199,192 people

The meeting which took place in the Wijaya Kusuma Room, West Jakarta Mayor's Office was chaired directly by West Jakarta Government Assistant, Yunus Burhan was attended by West Jakarta Health Sub-agency, Kristy Wathini, sub-district and urban village heads.

West Jakarta Government Assistant, Yunus Burhan disclosed that it was aimed at synchronizing data on the number of elderly people from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) with real data from the sub-district and village heads.

"This real data can already be accounted for by the urban village and sub-district heads. We give a deadline until tonight," he exclaimed.

West Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Kristy Wathini added that the obstacles faced by urban village and sub-district heads in collecting data in the field included the mobilization of residents. It was because some residents had moved domicile between regions and provinces.

"The target data for the COVID-19 vaccination for the elderly in West Jakarta reaches 199,192 people. 98,861 have been vaccinated as of March 31, and 100,331 people or 49.63 percent fail the vaccination due to health factors," she uttered.

Therefore, her party was going to map points as locations for vaccination in a bid to touch elderly people who had yet to receive vaccine.
