COVID-19, 1,820 Elderlies in Jatinegara Have Undergone Vaccination

Our target is about 4,869 people

As many as 1,820 or 26.75 percent out of 4,869 elderly people in Jatinegara Urban Village, Cakung, East Jakarta have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Jatinegara Urban Village Head Slamet Sihabudin disclosed that the vaccination prioritized for 12 RWs was held at Jayakarta Hospital, Pendidikan Al Wathoniyah Pusat Puteri Foundation, and Cakung Sub-district Puskesmas.

"Our target is about 4,869 people," he said, Monday (4/5).

To get the maximum results, he explained, it would be held every day, including on weekend. His party also involved the School Bus Service Unit (Upas) as a shuttle service for the elderly.

"Today at least 60 people have enjoyed the service to reach the vaccination site at Jayakarta Hospital," he exclaimed.

Jayakarta Hospital Medical Director Vice Jatu Sarasanti uttered the vaccination had been opened since March 19. It would be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 3 PM.

"We are coordinating with urban village for the vaccination service. There are 12 health workers alerted to smoothen the service. We also support it in other places by alerting 20 health workers under the puskesmas and the health sub-agency," he closed.
