Progress of COVID-19 Vaccination for Elderly in East Jakarta Reaches 51.17 Percent

Progress of COVID-19 vaccination program for elderly in East Jakarta has reached 51.17 percent. As many as 105,153 of total 205,512 elderly residents have been vaccinated. It means there are still 100,359 people who haven't been vaccinated.

As of today, 105,153 or 51.17 percent of total 205,512 elderly residents have been vaccinated

It was conveyed by East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar when holding regional coordination meeting (Rakorwil) at Multipurpose Room, Block C Building, Mayor's Office, on Thursday (4/8).

In this Rakorwil, his side discussed the achievement of COVID-19 vaccination program for elderly. Besides, his side also awarded 14 COVID-19 vaccination providers, consisting of 10 sub-district health centers, Community Health Service Center (PPKM) at Mayor's Office, Harapan Jayakarta Hospital, Resti Mulya Hospital, and Jakarta Emergency Ambulance Team.

"As of today, 105,153 or 51.17 percent of total 205,512 elderly residents have been vaccinated. It means, 48.83 percent or 100,359 elderly residents who haven't been vaccinated," he said.

Because there are still many elderly residents who haven't been vaccinated, his side asked heads of health centers in sub-district and urban village levels, sub-districts and urban villages to be innovative thus elderly would find it easier, safer, and comfortable to reach vaccination sites.
