Three Months, 4,577 Violators Not Wearing Masks Netted

The Koja Sub-district Satpol PP, North Jakarta has controlled 4,577 residents for not wearing masks in the mask operation during January - March 2021.

Koja Sub-district Satpol PP Head Roslely Tambunan said, from that number, 4,539 were subject to social work sanctions and 38 were subject to administrative fines by Rp 9,900,000.

In the same period, his side was also intensifying health protocol monitoring in workplaces in North Jakarta and found 369 violators. The violations committed included visitors and managers of business places not wearing masks, not limiting or maintaining physical distancing, etc.

"We also give a written warning sanction, 1x24 hour close seal, and 3×24 hour close seal," he stated.
