Illegal Parking, Seven Cars Under Becakayu Toll Road Towed

Some 30 joint officers of East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency, POM Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) and Traffic Unit, controlled an illegal parking in the area under the Bekacayu Toll road, RW 03, Cipinang Melayu, Makasar, on Friday (3/12).

Supervision and Control Division Head Riky Erwinda said that the raid was aimed to follow up on the public reports about the large number of vehicle owners using the area as a garage and illegal parking lot.

Three Cars Towed in Matraman Due to Illegal Parking

In the raid, the officers managed to crack down on seven cars and then towed to the Transportation Sub-agency office on Jalan Pegambiran, Rawamangun.

To prevent similar case in future, he would routinely hold the raid against illegal parking.

"Certainly we will act firmly," he asserted.
