Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration (Nakertrans) and Energy Agency has a plan to vaccinate all formal private workers in Jakarta. The reason is, they are also very vulnerable to being exposed to the disease in their field of work.
Based on the latest data, there are 2.3 million formal private workers spread across 83,924 micro, small, medium and large enterprises. Around 1.1 million of them were workers with Jakarta ID cards.

Naketrans Agency Head Andri Yansyah disclosed that they should receive vaccine as they often interact and have direct contact with the community. For instance, workers at the bank often meet customers and factory workers who interact with each other, especially during breaks.
"Until now we are still waiting for the vaccination schedule for private formal workers. Nevertheless, we continue to make discussion with the Health Agency and the Health Ministry about vaccination for workers in Jakarta," he expressed, Monday (4/12).
To anticipate the spread of COVID-19 in the office environment, health protocols were still enforced, including limiting the number of office employees at 50 percent of capacity.
