An-Ni'mah Mosque in Panggang Island Sprayed with Disinfectant

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency Sector 7 sprayed disinfectant at An-Ni'mah Mosque, RT 03/02, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district.

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Sub-agency Sector 7 Head, Buang Miharja stated, disinfectant spraying was conducted as an effort to prevent COVID-19 transmission in worship places.

"We carry out disinfectant spraying to follow up request from Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) to provide greater sense of security and comfort for the congregation, especially in Ramadan month," he mentioned, Tuesday (4/13).

In this activity, his side deployed four personnel from Karya Island Guard Post whose equipped with a water sprayer unit.

"We spray the entire area of mosque with disinfectant, starting from courtyard, ablution area, and toilet. For this activity, we use 15 liters of disinfectant liquid," he said.
