The Use of PPMK Budget Asked to Be On Target

The fund of Urban Village Community Empowerment Program (PPMK) as much as Rp 80 billion, which given to 704 members of Urban Village Community Foundation (LMK) in East Jakarta, is asked to be on target. If the fund was proven being misused, the fund disbursement will be stopped.

“PPMK fund must used on target in accordance to Governor Decree No. 1369/2014. We also have created guidelines for the implementation and technical tasks. If it was proven that the fund usage violating the rules, we will stop the fund,” stated Head of Jakarta Community, Women, and Family Planning Empowerment Board, Deded Sukandar, Wednesday (11/12).
According Sukandar, this year each LMK gets fund as much as Rp 225-325 million in accordance to their regions’ typology. The fund is divided into two functions, namely physical funding for environment improvement by 60 percent and charity activities by 40 percent.
LMK Programs to Be DelayedBatu Ampar LMK Chairman, Sarikun (45), stated that his party is ready to follow the rules made by Jakarta Provincial Government. Currently, Batu Ampar LMK is building a park and a building for early childhood education (PAUD) center.
“PPMK fund this year will be used to build two park and PAUD, in accordance to the operational guidelines. In total, the amount of PPMK fund and self-community is about Rp 14 million,” he said.
