Jakarta's Latest Official COVID-19 Figures as of April 13

The Jakarta COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force announces the latest information of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases as of April 13.

The number of people tested last week has reached 66,398

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head Dwi Oktavia Tatri Lestari stated, based on the latest data, the swab tests had been carried out on 9,470 specimens. 7,576 of them were to diagnose new cases with 828 positive and 6,748 negative results. In addition, an antigen test was also held today, where 3,889 were tested, with 66 positive results and 3,823 negative results.

"The number of people tested last week has reached 66,398, while 334,842 people have undergone the swab tests. As for the number of active cases in Jakarta to date was 6,187 people who were undergoing self-isolation at home (including data of athlete's homestead) or decreased to 84 cases," she expressed, as quoted by Jakarta's PPID press release, Tuesday (4/13).

Latest Information on COVID-19 Cases and Vaccination in Jakarta as of April 12, 2021

As for the total number of confirmation cases in Jakarta to date was 394,118 cases. Of these cases, 381,449 people were cured with a cure rate reaching 96.8% and 6,482 people died with a world with a death rate of 1.6%, while Indonesia's death rate was 2.7%. The positivity rate in the last week in Jakarta was 10%, while Indonesia was 11.1%. WHO also set a standard percentage of positive cases of no more than 5%.

Meanwhile, the vaccination process was still ongoing. The number of vaccination targets for stages 1 and 2 (health workers, the elderly, and public servants) was 3,000,689 people. The total vaccination dose 1 was currently 1,569,019 people (52.3%) and the total vaccination dose 2 now reached 728,994 people (24.3%).

With the detailed, vaccination dose 1 for health workers reached 123,958 people (110.4%) and vaccination dose 2 included 107,968 people (96.1%), with a vaccination target of 112.301 people. As for the elderly, vaccination dose 1 was done to 523,125 people (58.9%) and vaccination dose 2 included 196,464 people (21.6%), with a vaccination target of 911,631 people. In the public service, vaccination dose 1 was administered to 907,936  people (45.9%) and vaccination dose 2 included 424,562 people (21.5%), with a vaccination target of 1,976,757 people.

Amid PSBB, residents wanting to enter the Jakarta area were urged to carry out independent COVID-19 check-up through the JakCLM via JAKI app. In this app, they could find out the risk of COVID-19 and got various health recommendations according to the risks they have. This contribution would help the government to prevent the diseases in Jakarta.

Together with Satpol PP, the operation for residents who do not wear masks will also be intensified, including other PSBB violations. Hopefully, they can be more disciplined in implementing health protocols and participating in stopping the chain of COVID-19.

Here is the recap data of violations and prosecution compiled by Satpol PP in tightening the PSBB as of April 12 at 6 PM, as follows:

- Fine = 0

- Temporary suspension of activities for 1x24 = 5

- Temporary suspension of activities for 3x24 = 4

- Written warning = 40

- Disbandment = 12

- License Revocation = 0

- Zero violation = 421

- Total = 482

C. Workplaces, Business Places, Industrial Places

- Fine = 0

- Temporary suspension of activities for 3x24 hours = 0

- Written warning = 20

- License Revocation = 0

- Zero violation = 328

- Total = 348

D. Value of Fines

- Individual = Rp 10,750,000

- Place of business to eat and drink/restaurant = Rp 0

- Workplace/Industrial = Rp 0

- Amount = Rp 10,750,000
