Three Channels on Panggang Island Cleaned

We have managed to pick up 10 sacks of mud and garbage from the channels

The Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is cleaning the water channel in three locations spread over RW 03, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district.

Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head Hendri detailed those three locations were RT 05/03 with channel as long as 13.50 meters, RT 06/03 with channel as long as 44.25 meters, and RT 07/03 with channel as long as 28.55 meters.

"We have managed to pick up 10 sacks of mud and garbage from the channels," he expressed, Wednesday (4/14).

In the field, his side sent 21 personnel to smoothen the cleanup action that had been ongoing since yesterday and was targeted to be complete today.

"By so the channel is expected to optimally accommodate rainwater in large quantities when it rains," he hoped.
