Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) will announce the inauguration of Basuki ‘Ahok’ T Purnama as Jakarta Governor today, Friday (11/14). It is decided after the council held an executive meeting and also because there is a recommendation letter from the Home Ministry.
Tomorrow is just the plenary meeting to announce Ahok’s appointment as Jakarta Governor, while the inauguration will be done on November 18
“Plenary meeting will be done tomorrow at 10.30 AM,” stated DPRD Chairman, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, at DPRD building, Thursday (11/13).
The recommendation letter addressed by the Home Ministry is contained in the Home Ministry Decree No. 121.32/4438/OTDA on the appointment mechanism of Jakarta Vice Governor becomes Jakarta Governor for period 2012-2017.
