COVID-19 Task Force Monitors Health Protocol and Distributes Masks in Untung Jawa Island

In order to prevent COVID-19 transmission, Untung Jawa Island Urban Village COVID-19 Task Force, South Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands carried out health protocol monitoring and distributed free masks to residents.

Untung Jawa Island Urban Village Head, Supriyadi mentioned, this monitoring was carried out in tourist attraction locations, piers, main roads, and residential areas.

"We involve related agencies and communities in this monitoring. As the result, no violation is found, it means residents and tourists' awareness has increased because all of them are wearing mask," he said, Monday (4/19).

Moreover, his side also distributed masks for free to residents and tourists whose masks look unfit to wear.

"We also distribute 20 masks. Besides, we always hold health protocol monitoring routinely, especially when many tourists visit the island in order to maintain COVID-19 green zone status in Untung Jawa Island," he explained.
