Stocks of Basic Food and LPG in Thousand Islands are Still Safe

Don't worry all is safe

The Thousand Islands Regency administration ensures the stocks of basic food and 3-kg liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) during Ramadan and Eid ul Fitr are arguably safe.

Assistant for Thousand Islands Economy and Development, Iwan P Samosir said, this assurance was based on the results of the meeting with the related regional apparatus organizations (OPD).

"Don't worry all is safe," he expressed, Monday (4/19).

Thousand Islands Manpower, Transmigration (Nakertrans) and Energy Sub-agency Head, Raviandri added, according to the results of coordination with Pertamina and the National Association of Oil and Gas Entrepreneurs (Hiswana Gas), specifically the supply this year reached 76 metric tons or the equivalent of 76,000 kg.

"The total location or quota this year for Thousand Islands is about 938 metric tons, equivalent to 938,000 kg," he explained.

To ensure sufficient energy supply, he is going to form a supervisory task force to prevent unwanted things.

"This is expected to make the supply chain and distribution safe and on target," he hoped.
