50 PPKM Violators Netted in Cipayung

During the enforcement of public activity restrictions (PPKM) period, joint personnel netted 50 motorists in Cipayung Sub-district, East Jakarta on Tuesday (4/20), and gave them social work sanction for sweeping the streets for 60 minutes.

Cipayung Sub-distr ict Head, Fajar Eko Satrio mentioned, PPKM monitoring was carried out to follow up Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 3/2021 on Implementation Regulations of Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 2/2020 about COVID-19 Handling. As well as Gubernatorial Decree (Kepgub) No. 405/2021 on Extending Enforcement of Micro-scale Public Activity Restrictions (PPKM Mikro).

"This activity involves 16 joint personnel from Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency, TNI/Police, and FKDM," he added.

Those 50 PPKM violators were netted in monitoring which carried out on Jl. Pagelarang Setu, Jl. Bambu Wulung Bambu Apus, Jl. TPU Pondok Ranggon, Jl. Raya Setu, Jl. Buni Munjul, Jl. Pagelarang Lubang Buaya Jl. Raya Cilangkap, and Jl. SMP 160 Ceger.

"There are 50 violators who have been subjected to social sanction in form of sweeping the streets for 60 minutes. It is expected to give them deterrent effect thus they will not violate the regulations again in the future," he asserted.
