20 SDA Personnel Deployed to Normalize Channel on Jl. Ksatriaan 3 and 4

Total 20 Water Resources (SDA) Unit personnel in Matraman Sub-district deployed to normalize channel on Jl. Ksatria n 3 and 4, RT 06/03, Kebon Manggis, East Jakarta. This channel normalization work is targeted to finish in early May.

We will install U-ditch concrete with size 50x50 centimeters on the channel

Matraman Sub-district SDA Unit Coordinator, Agus Sutono mentioned, channel which normalized has length of 140 meters. It was carried out because that channel is often silting, which causes inundation around the area.

"Water channel is old, damaged, and irregular. Thus we will install U-ditch concrete with size 50x50 centimeters on the channel," he explained.

Setiabudi Connecting Channel Dredging Work Reaches 70 Percent

Starting Thursday (4/22), his side will deploy mini heavy equipment to accelerate channel normalization work.

His side has coordinated with PDAM because there is clean water pipe utility measuring 2.5 inches in that location. Part of this pipe should be relocated because it was feared it could be hit by heavy equipment.

"Excavation is done manually by involving 20 SDA personnel. This work is targeted to finish in early May," he said.
