The Matraman Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Task Force has started building two infiltration wells in residential areas, Jalan Kayu Manis Barat Gg. Lontar 3, RT 01/01 Kayu Manis Urban Village, East Jakarta.
Matraman Sub-district SDA Taskforce Coordinator, Agus Sutono said as many as six personnel involved to smoothen the work that was targeted to be complete next week.

He explained it was conducted to overcome flood problem triggered by blockage of the water channels as high as 80 centimeters with 60 centimeters depth in the area. This channel was known connecting the Palmeriam Urban Village with the crossing under the railroad tracks.
"Unfortunately it is often clogged with garbage dumped by locals," he stated.
