Bambu Betung Park in Duren Sawit Cleaned for Eid al-Fitr Prayer

This task force has the responsibility of maintaining Bambu Betung and Bambu Kuning parks

The East Jakarta Parks and Urban Forest Sub-agency helps residents tidy up the Bambu Betung Park at RW 08 Pondok Bambu, Duren Sawit, which is planned to be used for the Eid prayer later.

Yanti Rosanna, Division Head of Parks said two personnel were deployed to prune the trees that looked already shady, ornamental plants and to clean the park.

"This task force has the responsibility of maintaining Bambu Betung and Bambu Kuning parks," she said, Thursday (4/22).

RW 08 Pondok Bambu Chairman Elsye Pongoh, appreciated the sub-agency that helped to maintain the parks.

"It is done, as every year the Betung Park is often used for Eid al-Fitr and Eid ul Adha prayers," she said.

He added, their help was very helpful. The residents also participated in this communal work, where they repainted the multipurpose field in the park area, including the existing paving blocks.
